'La Recova' Arts Center:
La Recova is an important culture center. Arts exhibitions take place here. The City School of Graphic Arts has its headquarters in La Recova.

Natural and Human History Museums:
These museums are one of the most important cultural projects in Santa Cruz in recent years.
Collections which were dispersed until now are being gathered here, like those of the former Archaeological Museum of Tenerife or the Natural History Museum.

Tuesday through Sunday, from 10 AM to 8 PM.
Closed on Mondays.

City Library and Fine Arts Museum:
The Library, which is now being extended, has an important department of Canarian literature and Islands's archives. It finds its complement in the Provincial Historic Archives Library, also in Santa Cruz.

Puerto de la Cruz Archeological Museum
Although the museum has not existed for very long (1953-1958), the archeological center is a site that must be mentioned because it has greatly contributed to education of the general public as to the rich archeological heritage of their area. The museum occupies an artistic historic building, unique to traditional Canary Island architecture from the XVIII-XIX centuries. More than 2,600 pieces make up their diverse collection, namely their permanent exhibition of clay pottery, giving us a glimpse into the guanche culture. The Gaunches, now an extinct population, were and the first known inhabitants of the Canary Islands.

Museum of Contemporary Art (MACEW)
The Museum of Contemporary Art features 50 works on display that are distributed, based on their contents and the origin of each artist, between four different spaces in “Casa de la Aduana,” where the Eduardo Westerdahl Museum of Contemporary Art is located. The Museum belongs to the Canary Island Institute of Hispanic Studies from Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife.
