The Tenerife School
Salomé Torres the head of studies at don Quijote in Tenerife describes how 'you will live its pleasant temperatures throughout the year, forget about the winter and enjoy the sun from every corner. You will enjoy the musical accent of its people that is reminiscent of the `Guanches´ who inhabited the island long ago and marvel at the magnificent Teide volcano, which seems to guard the island from the heights. Once you have arrived, you will find it hard to leave.'

Tourist attractions in Tenerife
Tenerife is known as “the island of eternal spring” because of its moderate temperatures throughout the year. Many of the sights you will want to see are outside, allowing you to enjoy both the beauty and the warmth of the island.
Tenerife is a mountainous island which is home to both a very high peak from which there are some stunning views and also to a giant crater known as El Teide! Two other great outdoor sights are Loro Park, where you will be able to see all types of animals and wildlife, and the botanical gardens. Tenerife’s beaches are also impressive. They run all around the island. Some have golden sand whilst others have black sand, reflecting the volcanic nature of the island. The Lago Martianez, a group of seawater pools is also worth a visit. The waters are a great place to swim or simply soak up the sun.
The island does also have buildings of historical interest. The church of Nuestra Señora de la Peña, the building Ermita de San Telmo, the Castillo de San Felipe and the Casa de la Aduana are all worth a visit as is the old part of the quay where little fishing boats are still kept.
Studying Spanish in Tenerife will allow you to enjoy temperate climates and a beautiful island.
